Friday, August 30
Early Bird Activities - Research: Hoyt Public Library Genealogy Room (9 - 5) or Latter Day Saints Church Family History Center (upon request) Arrive and settle into hotel rooms (Ramada Inn check-in time 3:00 p.m.) Registration Packets with Name Tags, Agenda, Map, etc.
6:00 - 10:00 Meet and greet in the Swarthout Reunion meeting room with snacks and drinks Bring any articles for sharing and auction items to leave in the Conference Room at State Street United Methodist Church (SSUMC), which will be open and attended ALL DAY.
Saturday, August 31
Continental breakfast at hotel or on own
9:30 Meet in the Ramada Inn lobby to go to Castle Museum
10:00 -11:30 Tour of Castle Museum of Saginaw County History
Noon - 1:00 Lunch in Conference Room at SSUMC - Pizza & Salad Organize, lay out, and discuss Swarthout Family Data
1:00 - 3:00 " A Time of Remembrance " Visit cemeteries and locate Swarthout graves Visit mausoleum (Ron & Lorraine Swarthout & Others)
3:00 - 5:00 Free Time to Relax - Visit with others, explore parks, kayak, swim, play horse shoes, etc.
6:00 - 9:00 Dinner catered at SSUMC Conference Room Business Meeting Auction
Sunday, September 1
Breakfast at Ramada Inn or Continental Breakfast at SSUMC (8:30 - 9:30) Attend church of your choice - several in area celebrating 150 + years
Noon Meet in SSUMC Conference Room with local Swarthouts Drive to Frankenmuth - lunch at Zehnder's of Frankenmuth, tour community and visit Bronner's Christmas Wonderland
4:00 Back to Saginaw - Rest, relax, visit, horse shoes in the Cemetery . . .
6:00 Cook Out at John & Myrna Cammin's - Dogs & Suds, Veggies and Dessert (Beverages provided - Beer, Wine and soft drinks)
Visit with Local Swarthout Historians. . . Georgia Egan, Tom Mudd, Roslin Ederer, Larrry Toft, John & Betty Mayer
Monday, September 2 Breakfast Visit in SSUMC Conference Room, Collect and copy data*, Visit new sites or revisit points of interest
Noon Ramada Inn check-out time . . . Church will be open all day
*Copier will be available at SSUMC in Conference Room Internet ( Wi-Fi) hook-up available at the Ramada Inn and SSUMC Conference Room
