Picnic at North Hector
The Swarthout Family had a magnificent Pic Nic on Friday last at North Hector. The day was very warm, but clear and beautiful and the fine shade on the Hector shore, made it very pleasant and about 400 to 500 jolly Swarthouts and their connections made the day one to be long remembered for its solid enjoyments. They are to hold their annual Pic Nic next year at Starkey Landing on the Yates County shore. Chronicle
